– All fishing trip participants aged 12 and older must have a Costa Rica fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online or at the marina before your trip for 10,000 colones (approximately $17 USD). Each license is valid for eight days, so you won’t need to purchase a new one for multiple trips within that timeframe.
